Village of Hope

Bringing Hope and Humanity to Developing Countries

This undertaking consists of building earthquake resistant houses and villages for the displaced and homeless people of Afghanistan. Based on careful examination of the traditional buildings and local materials, Azizi Architects, Inc. developed the concept of the Village of Hope; constructing numerous villages, each with supporting facilities (a school, orphanage, health clinic, mosque, library, park, playground, and shops) all within walking distance of 500 to 2,500 houses for 6,000 to 30,000 people. This project is designed as a model to overcome the worldwide housing shortage and homelessness. If interested, you may follow its progress on our Blog.
